Fuquay Varina Cracks Top Ten Safest Cities in North Carolina. Safewise.com releases an annual poll in each state across the U.S., ranking the safest places in. each. Analyzing official statistics from the FBI’s annual crime reports and population data, their experts analyze over 110 municipalities. In our state, these towns and cities are then listed among the annual Top 50 Safest Cities in North Carolina. The 2019 Safewise rankings were recently released, with the Town of Fuquay Varina ranking among the Top 10 statewide!

Five Straight Years of Climbing the List For the fifth consecutive year, Fuquay Varina found itself moving up the Safest Cities in North Carolina. Initially included in Safewise’s 2015 poll, the town found itself moving up over ten positions from 2015 to 2016. Likewise, it was in 2017 that Fuquay was first able to leap into the Top 20. The town has remained in a strong Top 10 position among Safest Cities in North Carolina for both 2018 and 2019.
